Although I focus on Intuitive Eating, I feel passionate about helping those who may be getting close to eating disorders (disordered eating).
But if you are already there, I see you. I was there too. That is what got me started with my passion.
In this Interview with Alexis Smith, we talk about her story of eating disorders, how she has recovered and now is advocating for awareness.
She says the best process for someone who may feel like they have an eating disorder, is to do these 3 things:
- See a Therapist as soon as possible
- Tell someone you trust that you may have an unhealthy relationship with food & need help
- Use a Free & Anonymous Online Eating Disorder Screening Tool Online
